Your safety and health are very important to GENESIS.
We are closely monitoring advisories and recommendations from the CDC and both the state and local Health & Human Services Departments; in addition, the Maimonides Medical Center for directions related to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
It is a top priority that all precautions are taken to keep a safe environment for patients and staff members alike. We CANNOT safely provide treatment to patients who are quarantined due to the risk for other patients and staff.
Please be aware of our New Protocols, effective 03/13/2020; until further noticed:
- To minimize risk to other patients and our staff members, if you have been placed on quarantine, please call the office and DO NOT come in.
- If you are having symptoms of a respiratory infection (e.g., cough, sore throat, fever), please notify us immediately. Our health care providers will determine the best course of actions, which may including telehealth session.
- Patients are to call ahead and discuss the need to reschedule their appointment if they develop symptoms of a respiratory infection (e.g., cough, sore throat, fever) on the day they are scheduled to be seen.
- Patients and staff members are to adhere to the respiratory hygiene and cough etiquette and hand hygiene, etc. Reminders have been place all around the practice.
We will diligently continue to closely monitor the situation and update every one of any changes.
Thank you for your understanding and support.
