Dr. Alka Goyal is the Director of Laboratories at GENESIS. She holds a High Complexity Laboratory Director’s license and a Clinical Consultant certification from the American Board of Bioanalysis. She has been involved in the field of reproductive medicine for over 25 years.

A: Because how life and the universe begins never ceases to amaze me.

A: The fortitude of women who came before me.
Q: WHAT DO YOU ENJOY DOING IN YOUR SPARE TIME?
A: I love to stay active, Zumba classes, gym and swimming, I am also trying to learn golf!

A: I cannot resist candy.
Q: DESCRIBE A TIME WHEN YOU WERE INSPIRED BY A PATIENT.
A: I am humbled by the faith patients have in us, it inspires me to try and be better than what I was yesterday .
Q: WHAT IS YOUR APPROACH TO HELPING PATIENTS?
A: Although their destination is sometimes beyond the forces I control, I try to assure them I will look after them throughout their journey.
Q: HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR PERSONALITY?
A: Difficult to predict.
Q: IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT YOU?
A: When I retire I would like to go back to university and read theoretical physics.
