“You cannot discover new oceans unless you have the courage to lose sight of the shore.”
Q: WHY DID YOU BECOME AN EMBRYOLOGIST
A: Because how life begins under a microscopic or in the expansive universe never ceases to mesmerize me.
Q: WHO INSPIRES YOU?
A: The contributions and accomplishments of the fortitude of women who came before me and the relentless pursuit of the women today towards gender equality and empowerment.
Q: WHAT DO YOU ENJOY DOING IN YOUR SPARE TIME?
A: I am enchanted by the interplay of colors, light and depth in nature so both watercolor painting and photography interest me. I am an eternal learner, almost nerdy (no surprise here!) and always looking for ways expanding my knowledge and imagination through reading. I also try to balance both my physical and mental well-being through yoga.
Q: WHAT IS SOMETHING ABOUT YOU THAT WOULD SURPRISE MOST PEOPLE?
A: I love skydiving.
Q: DESCRIBE A TIME WHEN YOU WERE INSPIRED BY A PATIENT.
A: The grit and tenacity that some patients demonstrate in chasing their dreams inspires me for a relentless pursuit of being better than I was yesterday.
Q: WHAT IS YOUR APPROACH TO HELPING PATIENTS?
A: Although their destination is sometimes beyond the forces I control, my team and I try to do our very best every single time ensuring a consistent quality of excellence through their journey with GENESIS.
Q: HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR PERSONALITY?
A: I’m a bit like a Rubik’s cube – sometimes colorful and intriguing, sometimes frustrating and confusing, but always a challenge to figure out.
Q: IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT YOU?
A: When I retire, I would like to move from the microscope to the telescope. I would like a chance to try and understand the ever-elusive universe.
