Rahina Charles (AKA Nina) is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with a specialty in family health. In her current role, Rahina aims at providing exceptional care to women seeking treatment at GENESIS Fertility & Reproductive Medicine.
Nina was raised in Haiti and moved to Brooklyn New York at the age of 15, where she attended the St. Edmund Preparatory High School. She earned her first undergraduate bachelor’s degree in health and nutrition. She then completed her bachelor’s degree in nursing at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She held her first registered nurse position in gastroenterology. Early in her nursing career, Rahina craved to be more involved in women’s health. Rahina spent eight years at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. Her experience there inspired her to transition into a more proactive role in women health. As her passion grew, she furthered her education and obtained a master’s degree in nursing as a family nurse practitioner (FNP) at Long Island University.
The majority of Nina’s nursing career has been centered around women. Nina is committed to educating, promoting health, facilitating family planning, and empowering women to take control over all aspects of their health.
