completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and herfellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Makarov is a board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and board-eligible in Reproductive Endocrinology. Dr. Makarov has won several awards for her research and has authored numerous research papers published in peer-reviewed journals as well as textbook chapters on topics in obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology.

Dr. Makarov is involved in many national and international health organizations, including the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the International Society for Fertility Preservation. She has presented her research at numerous national meetings, including her findings into the cause of embryo implantation failure and her work on optimizing ART success.

Dr. Makarov is currently accepting patients both at Genesis’ main office as well as our new office, located at 808 8th Avenue, in Park Slope, Brooklyn.
